Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Senior Helpers - Orlando. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Care: Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as needed.
  • Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and participate in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Household Assistance: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry, as needed.
  • Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients to appointments and errands, as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Experience in Caregiving: 1+ year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification and any other relevant certifications.
  • Reliability and Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
