Overview
Aware Recovery Care is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Client Recovery Advisor to join our team. As a Client Recovery Advisor, you will play a critical role in guiding and supporting clients through our intensive In-Home Addiction Treatment program.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver our 52-week In-Home Addiction Treatment program within the client's home environment.
- Collaborate with our Addiction Treatment team to coordinate customized client care.
- Manage a caseload of clients and schedule appointments as needed.
- Offer support through face-to-face appointments and telephonic sessions as necessary.
- Submit timely clinical documentation in our Electronic Medical Record system.
- Meet clients where they are and work across departments to provide holistic client support.
- Share personal experience to provide guidance through early and continued recovery.
- Participate in Case Review, supervision, and continuing education.
- Mentor and shadow new employees as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years of lived continuous recovery experience from any Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or personal experience with addiction in family members or loved ones preferred.
- Certifications such as Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counselor (DARC), Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), and/or other applicable trainings/certifications related to addiction treatment are a plus.
- Proof of auto insurance is required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $20-$26 per hour based on experience, education, and qualifications.
- Hourly and non-exempt role with evenings until 6 p.m. and some weekend availability required.
- Mileage reimbursement available.
