As salaried physicians, MAPMG members experience a work environment free from the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-service structures. Our patients enjoy seamless access to specialists and medical records, enabling a holistic approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychiatric care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting, Monday through Friday (no weekend clinics), supported by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including physicians, therapists, advanced practice nurses, and clinical pharmacists.
- Document patient interactions using the EPIC EMR, an integrated medical information system.
- Provide care through both in-person and virtual consultations (hybrid schedule).
- No inpatient rounding required.
- Allocate 20% of daily work hours to electronic patient care management.
- Must possess an MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or eligible in Psychiatry.
- Must hold or be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Preference given to candidates with completed fellowship training and board certification in Addiction Psychiatry.
- Work visa sponsorship available for qualified applicants.
