Job Summary

The Senior Project Developer will support the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects across the United States and Canada. This role will work closely with the development team to drive project development activities from feasibility to construction, and maintain database tracking project progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and drive development activities of utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects
  • Manage environmental site assessment, permitting, transmission/interconnection, land acquisition, and design activities
  • Engage consultants, review their findings, and ensure implementation
  • Research new industry developments, tax incentives, and technologies
  • Manage permit application preparation and attend public permitting hearings
  • Engage with landowners and stakeholders to keep them informed throughout the development process
  • Develop project model underwriting assumptions and review project pro forma financial models
  • Support energy offtake, financing, and project Mergers & Acquisitions discussions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Business Administration, Finance, Energy, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum five years of project development experience in renewable energy utility-scale projects
  • Skilled in project management, with ability to multi-task and prioritize critical path tasks
  • Highly capable of working constructively and maintaining good relationships with public officials and agencies
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present to a wide range of audiences

  • Competitive salary range: $96,000 - $147,660 USD annually
