Job Title: Power Grid Modelling Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Power Grid Modelling Expert to join our team at Pangea. The successful candidate will be responsible for modelling and long-term price forecasting of the US Power Grid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modelling and long-term price forecasting of the US Power Grid
  • Running production modelling tools and long-term studies on assets such as solar, wind, and storage
  • Experience with 10-year models and generating 10-year price forecasts in ERCOT

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in producing and running forecasts
  • Engineering background is helpful, but not always required
  • Production cost tooling experience, including PROMOD, UPLAN, or Aurora
  • Python and SQL skills are a plus

Location: Houston, TX (3 days in office)
