Job Description

The Project Developer (Renewable Energy) will be responsible for leading the development of utility-scale BESS projects from initial project proposal and siting, through to permitting, design, interconnection, approval, contracting and financing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the development of complex large-scale renewable energy projects
  • Direct and conduct due diligence on development-stage project and portfolio acquisitions
  • Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns and property and sales tax abatement efforts
  • Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the renewable energy industry with full life-cycle development
  • Direct experience in utility-scale solar, storage, or wind projects
  • Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations, and customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects
  • Bachelor's degree required
