Job Summary

Ho'olaulima Government Solutions LLC (HGS) is a leading provider of environmental services, information technology services, healthcare services, and professional and technical services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team at the Kina'ole Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to benefit Native Hawaiian communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain expertise in all relevant policies and procedures, including the ability to articulate and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Focus on supplier performance, resolving day-to-day delivery and procure-to-pay issues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise-wide procurement processes and systems, including documentation and optimization.
  • Evaluate and measure vendor performance to ensure it meets expectations, including lead time, delivery appointments, quality, and contract commitments.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and visit vendor sites as required.
  • Assist the Sourcing and Procurement team with category spend assessments, supplier selection, price negotiation, and bid evaluation processes.
  • Effectively communicate oral and written resolutions of issues with internal and external partners.
  • Provide a bridge between corporate, procurement, internal, and external customers, and suppliers.
  • Document assessment findings in analytical documents and reports, including trend analyses, technical summaries, and statistical summaries.
Requirements
  • Associates degree with 2-3 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Prior experience working with DOD or military-related fields is preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with various IT equipment functionality.
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with military concepts and Department of Defense Acquisition processes.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills, with a high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work individually or in a group setting.
  • Ability to interact with coworkers to develop a team environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate dedication to project timelines.
  • Ability to be trained.
  • Able to direct equipment tests and provide instructions to participating members.
  • Successful presentation of technical information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Strong math skills.
