Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at O'Neal Industries Inc. as a Quality Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the products supplied to our customers meet the quality parameters set forth by our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Quality Hold Status: Apply and release quality hold status of products as applicable.
  • Documentation: Scan certifications and testing reports into our operating system.
  • Material Handling: Unload heavy material from trucks using a forklift, weight and measure materials, and move material to rack using a forklift or side-loader forklift.
  • Quality Orientation: Assist with the quality orientation for new employees.
  • Customer Support: Support sales with certification and compliance requests, and support operations and production with order and material-technical needs.
  • Supplier Management: Initiate and maintain the ongoing assessment and approval of subcontractors, and perform periodic audits of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Quality Manual: Maintain a full understanding of our company's Quality Manual, Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions, and how they relate to AMS, ASTM, AISI, AS9100, and ISO-9001 Requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Material Handling Experience: Experience using a forklift and overhead crane.
  • Quality Related Experience: 1 year of quality related experience and/or training.
  • Supplier Certificates: Preferred supplier required certificates, such as GE DSQR, PWA SDRA.
  • Aerospace Experience: Aerospace experience is preferred.
