Role Purpose

The Clinician I plays a crucial role in delivering clinical services tailored to the needs of victims, ensuring a victim-centered approach. This position is responsible for developing personalized treatment plans for each individual served.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of individualized treatment plans for each victim.
  • Collaborate in the development of wellness plans alongside Survivor Mentors and Regional Advocates.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention care to address immediate victim needs.
  • Document and communicate with referral providers as necessary in line with treatment objectives.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure appropriate care for cases.
  • Work in partnership with Regional Advocates and Survivor Mentors to meet victim needs effectively.
  • Complete necessary documentation as required by funding sources and referral entities.
  • Provide training to referral agencies to ensure effective interventions for victims of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on programmatic requirements.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field with a focus on Counseling (registered intern status in Florida preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
