Director of Development Operations

Shakespeare Theatre Company is seeking a highly skilled and organized Director of Development Operations to join our Development department. This role will work closely with our finance team to manage budgets, projections, and donor records, ensuring the effective use of our Tessitura database.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus an additional 3 years in a non-profit development department, specifically working with Tessitura. They will be highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and deadlines, and a high level of discretion in dealing with confidential information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing annual plans for donors and prospects
  • Keeping donor records updated
  • Collecting outstanding pledges
  • Providing donor and prospect lists for events and campaigns
  • Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Development Department

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and an annual salary of $80,000 - $85,000. The position regularly engages with donors, solicits donor feedback, and ensures donor satisfaction. Please note that this position is currently hybrid, with three days required on-site.
