About the Role

Croda is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead reliability analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Perform root cause analysis on failed equipment and systems, and develop and execute corrective actions to prevent future failures.
  • Manage our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce costs.
  • Participate in project inception and commissioning, and assist in the identification of new equipment and commissioning, start-up, installation, or qualification activities.
  • Interface with all departments, including manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and validation, to ensure maintenance requirements are met and implemented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, with 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Expertise in process equipment, filling or packaging equipment, cleaning validation planning and execution, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), chemical process engineering, and pharmaceutical process development.
  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations, NFPA regulations, and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in pivot tables and graphs, and proficiency in PowerPoint to create and edit presentations.
