Efficiency Expert: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules, ensuring quality and food safety standards while maximizing output. Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to maintain a smooth production flow.
Inventory Guardian: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the right amount of finished goods, leading schedule reviews to ensure alignment and adjustments as needed.
Communication Champion: Serve as the key liaison between production, procurement, and other departments, providing regular updates on production status and addressing potential issues.
Management Maven: Stay on call during production hours to field questions, adjust schedules, and maintain accurate records of schedules and metrics.
Requirements:
Experience: 5-7 years in supply chain management, with a focus on inventory planning and management. Experience in food manufacturing and ERP planning systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) is a plus.
Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Certifications like APICS, CPIM, CPSM, CPF, or Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing are a bonus.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from leadership, staff, and external partners.
