We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Produce Department Supervisor to join our team at Harris Teeter. As a key member of our produce team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising up to 20 associates in the produce department, as well as overseeing the floral department.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise produce department associates to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality produce presentation.
- Oversee the daily operations of the produce department, including receiving, stocking, and displaying produce.
- Assist in the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to associates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and associates.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
