Job Summary

As a LPN Supervisor at Asbury Communities, you will oversee the Wellness departments for Ivy Gables Senior Living. Your responsibilities will include providing professional nursing care to residents, monitoring medication and treatment carts, and supporting the scheduler in the scheduling function. You will also make daily rounds and audits to ensure proper care and documentation. Additionally, you will assign duties to PCAs and take an active role in supervising, educating, and helping them develop.

Responsibilities
  • Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments
  • Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations
  • Supports the scheduler in the scheduling function
  • Makes daily rounds and audits, including shift report to ensure proper care, documentation, and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department
  • Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising, educating, and helping them develop

Qualifications
  • Current LPN licensure in the State of Delaware
  • CPR certification
  • 3 years experience as an LPN
  • General working knowledge of the aging services industry
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills
