Job Overview
As the Logistics Operations Leader, you will oversee a dynamic environment focused on customer satisfaction. Your role will involve leading a diverse team, which may include Operations Associates, Drivers, and Administrative Coordinators. You will collaborate with various internal departments, including Sales, and engage with external customer support. Your commitment to exceptional service will be demonstrated through effective order fulfillment and resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of the facility, ensuring timely order fulfillment and shipping, efficient receiving processes, and effective management of working capital related to operations, inventory, and quality management systems.

• Take responsibility for a location that may encompass multiple warehouse management systems and various customer value-added services.

• Foster a safe, secure, and inclusive workplace environment.

• Lead, coach, mentor, recruit, and train team members, including performance management.

• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and audit standards, including internal controls and ISO 9000 compliance.

• Manage the profit and loss statement (P&L) based on operational expenses.

• Drive operational efficiencies within the facility utilizing LEAN methodologies.

• Maintain standards for facility readiness for tours.

• Oversee preventative maintenance for the facility and all operational equipment, including material handling tools and warehouse infrastructure.

• Align facility capabilities with the expectations of customers and sales professionals, ensuring a cohesive market strategy.

• Collaborate with support departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources, and Finance.

• Actively participate in the development of annual budgets for the facility.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of operations experience, particularly in distribution center environments preferred.
• Proven experience in managing teams and indirectly supervising support staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills for both group and individual interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
