Role Summary

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) plays a pivotal role in co-leading the school alongside the Principal, ensuring that our students receive an outstanding education. Reporting to the Regional Superintendent of Operations, you will oversee a team of operational staff, including an Office Manager, Special Projects Coordinator, Nurse, and Custodian. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence
  • Direct all facets of school operations, encompassing facilities management, food services, transportation logistics, scheduling, student data management, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Supervise operations personnel to guarantee the efficient functioning of the main office.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, charter agreements, state educational requirements, and workplace laws.
  • Lead initiatives for student recruitment to maintain the financial viability of the school.
  • Collaborate with the Home Office's IT Team to maintain a robust technological framework.
  • Develop and manage the school’s budget and financial relationships with external vendors.
  • Utilize data analytics to enhance operational systems and processes.
Cultural Development
  • Foster a vibrant and rigorous school culture.
  • Work in partnership with the Principal to establish consistent academic and behavioral standards.
  • Maintain traditions and practices that support our college readiness mission across all grade levels.
Community Engagement
  • Maintain open communication with families regarding student performance, school policies, and events.
  • Build and nurture relationships with community leaders and organizations, ensuring a strong network of support.
