About the Position

Giant Eagle Inc. is seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our Bakery team. As a key player in our pastry production, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes that meet our high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Work efficiently to meet production demands, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and effective workflow.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to special orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product knowledge, procedures, and trends, ensuring the highest level of professionalism.

Requirements

  • 6 to 12 months of experience in a similar role or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program.
  • No High School diploma required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift.
  • Age 18 or older.
