Healthcare Call Center Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Call Center Specialist to join our team at MedPOINT Management. As a key member of our support center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our providers and office staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to providers and office staff through phone calls and emails.
- Respond to inquiries regarding patient referrals and other related issues.
- Inform callers of referral statuses in an easy-to-understand manner.
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied callers, offering assistance and support.
- Research required information using available resources.
- Identify and escalate priority issues.
- Route calls to appropriate resources when required.
- Make follow-up calls in a timely fashion when indicated.
- Meet call center transaction thresholds and service requirements.
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Terminology knowledge.
- Minimum one year experience in a customer service position; healthcare preferred.
- Bilingual language skills a plus.
