Inventory Software Specialist

Redfin is revolutionizing the real estate industry by leveraging data, software, and innovative design to put customers first. As an Inventory Software Specialist, you will play a critical role in solving complex business problems and driving customer-centric solutions.
What We DoWe are the Listing Data Acquisition team, responsible for data ingestion, transformation, and normalization from Multiple Listing Services (MLS) and other data sources. Our goal is to provide accurate and valuable data to our customers and agents.
The RoleAs a key member of our engineering team, you will develop and maintain data pipelines that populate millions of homes on Redfin.com. You will also build tools to make the process of ingesting home data more scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain data pipelines to populate Redfin.com with accurate home data
- Build tools to improve the efficiency and scalability of home data ingestion
- Interface with Real Estate Operations to resolve compliance issues
- Serve as a subject matter expert on home data to inform business decisions and power new features
We are looking for a strong candidate with a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and data structures. Proficiency in Java or C# is a must, and experience with database fundamentals and SQL queries is a plus. If you are a quick learner with a passion for customer experience, we encourage you to apply.
