As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in implementing a curriculum that is both engaging and developmentally appropriate. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Curriculum Development:
    • Design and execute lesson plans tailored to various age groups.
    • Encourage a love for learning through innovative teaching strategies.
    • Monitor and evaluate children's progress, adjusting activities as necessary.
  2. Classroom Leadership:

    • Maintain effective communication with families regarding their child's development.

    • Follow all health and safety protocols diligently.
    • Supervise children during both indoor and outdoor activities to guarantee their safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.

  • Completion of state-required pre-service training.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling.
