We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Marion County. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition age youth in the Woodburn and surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide intake medical mental health assessments, including screening for A/D issues.
- Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements.
- Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.
- Assist clients and families with accessing community supports/resources and making referrals for services.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon.
- Second year graduate students waived as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.
- At least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field for Mental Health Therapist 2.
- LCSW, CSWA, or eligible for LCSW.
Operates a motor vehicle; sees using depth perception; sits; stands; moves about the work area; climbs 1 floor of stairs; operates a keyboard; lifts, pushes, pulls, and carries up to 15 lbs.; speaks with a clear and audible voice; reads a 12 pt. font; hears a normal speech level; works in areas that may be exposed to heat, cold, humidity, dust, second-hand smoke, noise, or household cleaning chemicals such as bleach or cleansers; may work in areas that are uneven or wet.
BenefitsWe offer a generous benefits package to regular employees working 50% or more of the regularly scheduled work week and their eligible dependents. Temporary employees and part-time regular employees working less than 50% of the regularly scheduled work week are not eligible for benefits.
Salary and BenefitsSalary and benefits are subject to union contract negotiations and may change as a result.
