Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CV/ICU) team at Havasu Regional Medical Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CV/ICU unit, utilizing your specialized knowledge and skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
  • Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics, ventilator settings, and other critical care parameters to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-based policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A current state RN license and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • At least one year of ICU experience, with a strong background in critical care nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, with TNCC certification within six months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
