E&E Foods Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fresh/Frozen Sales Assistant to support our Corporate Office operations. This role is essential in assisting the Fresh & Frozen Sales Team with various responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Order Management: Collaborate with sales managers to ensure accurate entry of sales orders.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a Customer CRM, working closely with sales representatives to compile contact information for current and prospective clients.
- Order Processing: Handle the entry of all EDI orders and manage confirmations for key account programs.
- Sample Management: Oversee sample packing and shipping, including inventory management and ensuring freshness of materials.
- Business Development: Engage in prospecting new business opportunities and serve as the point of contact for inbound sales inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the seafood or food processing industry, particularly with perishables.
- Strong customer service orientation, both externally and internally.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as inventory control systems.
- Familiarity with EDI processes.
- Basic accounting skills and general math proficiency.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
Future Opportunities:
- Involvement in fresh wild sales entry and follow-up on AWB.
- Assisting with invoicing and purchase orders.
- Coordination with the Alaska Plant for fresh product management.
- Potential to train successors as you advance within the company.
Work Environment:
The position involves working in both office and plant settings, ensuring a dynamic work experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage range of $21.00 to $24.00.
