About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Sales Consultant Trainee to join our team at CarMax. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, helping customers find the right vehicle that meets their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your knowledge of CarMax inventory to assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, from sale or appraisal to test drives and arranging financing applications.
  • Complete all relevant records and documentation to ensure smooth transactions for our customers.
What We Offer

As a Sales Consultant at CarMax, you will receive competitive pay while training and through the first 640 hours of selling. We also provide paid training and a personal sales mentor who is dedicated to your ongoing development.

Requirements
  • Sales and customer service experience, in an area such as retail, is preferred.
  • Good listening skills and a strong customer focus.
  • High level of self-motivation.
