- Facilitate radio and telephone emergency transmissions, ensuring timely and accurate communication
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement personnel to provide support and assistance as needed
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with the university community, local law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- At least six months of experience in transmitting and receiving messages by radio or clerical work
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain certification through the Southeastern Defensive Driving Course
- Ability to work a 2-2-3 schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute
- College credit or degree in a related field, such as communications, public administration, or criminal justice
