Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Installer DC to join our team at OmniOn Power. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing DC power equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain DC power equipment and systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on DC power equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three years of experience in telecom DC power equipment installation
  • Two years of experience in pulling and sewing cable, construction of cable racking, and bay mounting
  • Valid driver's license
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time
  • Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior field engineering experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • AC electrical experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove lb. batteries.
  • Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.
  • Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time
  • Continuous standing
  • Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level
  • Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping
  • Frequently crouching or squatting
  • Be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold.
