Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality
  • Manage and coordinate the efforts of subordinate departments, including budgeting, hiring, and performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Federal, State, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with production management to resolve quality and productivity issues
  • Work with field sales teams to provide reliable costing information and support their tasks
  • Develop and track measurable goals to identify success across all departments
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, production planning, and shipping operations
  • Provide safety management and training for manufacturing and material control
  • Control budgets and analyze manpower and materials required to meet company objectives
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ISO certified standards
Requirements
  • High-level decision-making skills with ability to analyze facts and determine action
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to interact with employees, coworkers, and external customers
  • Experience in a job shop environment with knowledge of lean manufacturing philosophies
  • Ability to work in an ISO certified facility with international offices
