About The Role

Currie & Brown is seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to support hi-tech manufacturing projects in Bowling Green, KY. The successful candidate will work closely with project leaders to deliver high-quality service, achieve successful outcomes for clients, and contribute to the company's culture of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate budgets and track project costs throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage change impacts, estimate costs, and ensure contingency drawdown
  • Prepare and review monthly cost reports and budget reconciliations
  • Develop and maintain risk registers and track impacts
  • Forecast and monitor cash flows, and provide payment recommendations
  • Review contractor and consultant invoices
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and cost breakdowns
  • Conduct cost estimating using past experience, historical data, and parametric ratios
  • Support client account management and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain project controls tools
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a related technical field (preferable)
  • Minimum of eight years' experience in cost engineering, management, and/or estimating
  • Quantity surveying background (preferable)
  • Experience working on large complex capital projects, preferably in hi-tech manufacturing
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Project)
  • Ability to self-manage with minimal supervision
  • Good time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to lead, mentor, and develop a successful team
