Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for meeting clinical, administrative, and financial performance metrics. This position requires implementing, delivering, and ensuring the highest quality of patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient-Centered Care: Deliver comprehensive primary care services, prioritizing patient needs and preferences.
  • Treatment Planning: Participate in the selection of suitable treatment plans for all patients, ensuring personalized and effective care.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise staff to ensure the care team is providing appropriate care in accordance with their duties and obligations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Assist other care providers and extended care teams, providing continuous availability for medical and technical questions.
  • Quality Improvement: Actively participate in quality improvement programs and multidisciplinary quality assurance programs.
  • Collaboration with Management: Collaborate with the management team to ensure improvement of patient care and outcomes.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Prescriptive Authority: Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in the health center under the direction of a physician, prescribing or recommending drugs or other forms of treatment as needed.
  • Patient Referral: Refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment, as necessary.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Certification and Licensure: Must be Board Certified and licensed to practice in the appropriate state.
  • Basic Life Support: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Promotional Skills: Proficient in promoting the clinic and its services.
  • Strong Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Physical Demands: May require standing, walking, and sitting for extended amounts of time, with occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual and finger dexterity, with hand-eye coordination, including full range of body motion.
  • Vision and Hearing: Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
