  • Providing career guidance and placement support to students and alumni
  • Organizing and overseeing student activities
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to students and addressing their inquiries promptly
  • Building and nurturing relationships with employers

Core ResponsibilitiesCareer Guidance and Placement Support
  • Instructing students on effective resume writing techniques
  • Assisting students in job searches and developing search strategies
  • Preparing students for interviews through mock interview sessions
  • Providing job leads and managing the job bulletin board
  • Informing students about job fairs and local recruitment activities
Organizing Student Activities
  • Coordinating Student Government Associations and various student organizations
  • Assisting in the planning of graduation ceremonies

Physical Requirements

The role may involve occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 pounds. The individual may need to remain seated or standing for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

This position is situated in a professional office environment with a controlled indoor climate, where the noise level is typically moderate.

Qualifications

The Student Services Coordinator is expected to possess a minimum of an Associate's degree, with a Bachelor's degree preferred, along with at least two years of relevant experience.
