We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Banking Officer to join our team. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for originating and servicing commercial and industrial loans, as well as commercial real estate loans. Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and service commercial and industrial loans, as well as commercial real estate loans.
  • Negotiate loan proposals with existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop and implement business development programs to promote our commercial lending capabilities.
  • Analyze proposed loans for credit worthiness, risk, and prudent structuring.
  • Approve loans and address structuring issues within established lending authorities.
  • Prepare and review pre and post-closing commercial loan documentation.
  • Monitor performance of assigned commercial loan portfolio.
  • Participate in ongoing credit administration, including customer visitations and covenant reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum five to seven years C&I and/or commercial real estate lending experience required.
  • Proficient computer skills and excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and math skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid drivers' license and ability to travel to various sites.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with poise and tact.
  • Strong and effective customer service skills.
