Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at Universal Engineering Sciences. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, and maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue potential.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue potential
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for growth
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring consistent and professional communication
Understand clients' business needs and offer tailored solutions that align with company services
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client expectations and ensure satisfaction
Plan, organize, and execute events (e.g., product launches, client appreciation events, networking events) to promote business development and strengthen client relationships
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, marketing materials, and guest lists
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
Travel within the local area to meet with clients, attend industry events, and network with potential business partners
Provide in-person presentations, proposals, and service demonstrations as needed
Prepare and present regular reports on sales activity, business development efforts, and event outcomes
Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business strategies

Requirements

Proven experience in business development or account management in the A/E/C industry in Northeast Florida
Strong network and familiarity with the local market and industry landscape
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to organize and execute successful events
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools
Ability to travel locally within the town as required
Flexibility to work in-office with occasional travel for events and client meetings
Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)
Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida's Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification)
