About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team at Alene Candles LLC & Midwest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing areas.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair procedures to expedite timely repairs and reduce lost production time.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of practical experience in maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills, including knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Past maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced PC knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Electrical experience as an electrical apprentice or higher.
  • Knowledge of electrical controls, including PLC and basic controls wiring.
