We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team at Alene Candles LLC & Midwest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine repairs and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing areas.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair procedures to expedite timely repairs and reduce lost production time.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of practical experience in maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills, including knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Past maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced PC knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Electrical experience as an electrical apprentice or higher.
- Knowledge of electrical controls, including PLC and basic controls wiring.
