We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health Fairfax City, Virginia. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse populations in Fairfax, VA.

About the Role:

  • Provide therapy services for individuals, families, and groups.
  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create treatment plans, and complete documentation.
  • For Full-Time status, clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
  • Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with the team.
  • Use creativity in interventions to help clients achieve goals.
  • Advocate for clients by coordinating services with other personnel.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited institution.
  • Virginia clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) with independent practice ability and potential supervisory experience.
  • Experience in psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents promptly.
  • Comfort working with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in standard office technology and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
