Job Title: Property Management Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Property Management Associate to join our team at Brookfield Properties. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for coordinating common area activities, managing business development initiatives, and ensuring the overall success of our shopping center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Facilitate license agreement administration, prepare merchants for opening and vacating, and execute deals in Salesforce.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Update Alternative Revenue Inventory, prepare sales packages, and screen Alternative Revenue opportunities.
  • Tracking Merchant Metrics: Collect and enter specialty leasing sales information and manage collections to minimize accounts receivables.
  • Events: Participate in monthly marketing calls, secure retailer participation for events, and execute events planned for the property.
  • Visuals/Collateral: Coordinate selection of process and direct work to contracted visual merchandisers, ensuring compliance with Company guidelines.
  • Digital: Provide local social media posts to Community Manager, respond to Medallia marketing comments, and update website, directory, sales, careers, events, etc.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • CRRP designation or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 1-3 years of regional shopping center management or 3+ years of comparable experience required.
  • Strong ability to lead and influence a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, supervise, train, and direct a mall operations team and contracted services.
  • Adept in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strategic business orientation while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Physical Demands:
  • The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
