About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Broadview FCU. As a key member of our Insurance Sales team, you will be responsible for selling and servicing insurance products to our members and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets while earning incentives for qualified submitted sales.
  • Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to the highest level possible, providing a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing personal accounts.
  • Market new business, determine premiums, prepare and present proposals to clients, and maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier.
  • Check new policies for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages, signatures once issued, and ensure timely delivery or mailing to clients.
  • Receive phone calls from clients and companies regarding insurance or administrative problems and comply with requests or refer to the Producer when necessary.
  • Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines, maintain electronic and/or paper files in an orderly and up-to-date manner, and perform special projects at management's request.
Requirements
  • High School or Graduate Equivalency Diploma is required.
  • Professional designation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Applied EPIC and operations is desirable.
  • Good listening skills and attention to detail are important.
  • Knowledge of personal insurance and products is essential.
  • NY State Property and Casualty, or Agents or Brokers license and any required continuing education.
  • Your ability to be bonded is required.
