Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Frisco, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in report and dashboard testing, with a focus on the Power BI and SSRS technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and accuracy of reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and business users to identify and resolve defects in reports and dashboards.
• Create detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and visual validation testing.
• Verify the accuracy, interactivity, and visual appeal of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring the correct implementation of data visualization best practices.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure the consistency and accuracy of data displayed in reports and visualizations.
• Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with accessibility standards, assessing the performance of reports and visualizations for optimal loading and responsiveness.
• Evaluate existing test processes and identify opportunities for improvement in quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of report and visualization testing.
• Test Result Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and report on test results, providing clear and concise recommendations for improving report quality and usability.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in report and dashboard testing, with a specific focus on the Power BI and SSRS technology stack.
• Proficiency in SQL to query databases, perform data mapping, and validate data.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in test management tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation:
The starting hourly range for this remote role is $40 to $50. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
