Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and physician offices. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collect blood specimens from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collection
* Ensure accurate and efficient processing of specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and specimen collection

Requirements:

* 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff
* Ability to navigate a computer and accurately enter data, with proficiency in laboratory information systems and software
* High school diploma or equivalent, with medical training or certification preferred
