Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Transfer Driver - CDL to join our team. As a key member of our Sales and Service Department, you will be responsible for safely transporting trucks and trailers to customers, vendors, and dealerships. This is a part-time position that requires a valid CDL license and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Safely transport trucks and trailers to customers, vendors, and dealerships.
  • Lot Management: Organize and maintain the truck lot, ensuring that vehicles are parked and moved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Shuttle Services: Shuttle trucks in and out of the shop, ensuring that vehicles are properly secured and transported.
  • Road Testing: Conduct road tests on trucks after service work is completed to ensure that vehicles are safe and ready for delivery.
  • Log Keeping: Maintain accurate logs to meet federal standards.
  • Reporting: Submit completed and accurate trip reports and receipts.
Requirements
  • CDL License: A valid CDL license (A or B) is required.
  • Driving Record: A clean and acceptable driving record is essential.
  • Education and Experience: Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
