Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers. In this dynamic and patient-centric environment, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with our customers and grow your career in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions.
  • Process prescriptions, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers and support the pharmacy team in achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
  • Prefer good computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Prefer PTCB certification.
