We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Scheels. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security and Risk Mitigation: Help identify and mitigate potential security risks to prevent losses and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, assisting with directions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Property Management: Examine and properly tag property being brought into the stores, including personal property, equipment, and firearms.
  • Facility Monitoring: Monitor facilities and parking areas on foot, direct traffic during special events, and enforce parking regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations, and collaborate with law enforcement and other local retailers to identify organized retail crime threats.
  • Cash Handling and Transfers: Assist leadership with cash handling and transfers, and observe customers and associates for potential acts of theft or fraud.
  • Surveillance and Investigation: Conduct surveillance in compliance with company ethical standards and apprehension guidelines, and monitor video via CCTV and conduct on-site interviews.
  • Knowledge and Training: Develop and maintain knowledge and use of CCTV surveillance equipment, and assist in monitoring store compliance with company policies and procedures.
