NYU Langone Health System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping our radiologists interpret images and make accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body areas
- Prepare and position patients properly for exams
- Ensure quality review of images to ensure they meet departmental standards
- Practice safety protocols to ensure patient and employee safety
- Assist in the care and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies
- Technical Diploma in Radiology or Imaging Services
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License or Temp Permit
- ARRT Advanced Certification in MRI within 180 days of hire
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or related field
- Years of experience as an MRI technologist or training
