About the Role

This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and involves leading project management, copywriting, and providing direction for the development of marketing materials, including brochures, catalogs, tradeshow and event communication strategies, and e-marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the poultry industry and experience in marketing, with a BS/BA/BBA degree in agriculture, business, agribusiness, ag economics, ag marketing, or a related field preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Analyze market size, competitors, distributor and end-user requirements for assigned product lines.
  • Marketing Materials Development: Develop marketing materials, in conjunction with internal graphic design, including catalogs, brochures, training materials, internet marketing, etc.
  • Trade Show Strategy: Develop trade show goals and communication strategy and implement in conjunction with sales and marketing team.
  • Price Communication: Communicate price and price changes to all participants in the sales process through letters, emails, website, direct mail, etc.
  • Product Line Planning: Develop and implement product line plans to achieve marketing, sales, and financial performance objectives.
  • New Product Identification: Identify new product opportunities and speak for the customer in terms of requirements in product features, service, technical application, pricing and delivery.
  • Forecasting: Forecast product sales.
  • Pricing Recommendations: Recommend pricing levels to achieve financial targets.
