Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing formal behavior management plans, conducting functional behavioral assessments, and providing behavioral consultation services. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement behavior support plans based on applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior strategies
  • Analyze data to determine the function of problem behaviors and design effective interventions
  • Train staff members on the implementation of behavior support plans and monitor progress
  • Conduct treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementation of behavior support plans
  • Review behavior data and provide descriptive progress notes on a monthly basis
Requirements
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and staff members
