Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one behavioral intervention services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Technician will work closely with our team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavior change and improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavioral interventions and strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote adaptive behaviors.
  • Provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services to individuals in their homes, communities, and schools.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior, including frequency and duration of behaviors.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, social work).
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
