Stroke Program Quality Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Program Data Analyst to join our Neuroscience team at Garnet Health Medical Center-Middletown. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that stroke patients receive care in compliance with DNV and NYS DOH guidelines for Stroke Center Designation.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain the efficient operation of the stroke registry.
- Collate the stroke registry in reports to identify opportunities for positive patient outcomes.
- Work in partnership with the Stroke Medical Director and various members of the Stroke Leadership Team in support of patient care and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Minimum Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing preferred, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of acute care experience as an RN preferred, Two (2) years of experience in caring for stroke patients preferred.
- Required Certification/Registration: Current and ongoing NYS RN license.
- Required Skills: Demonstrated practical knowledge of common office software applications, including Power Point, Excel, Word, etc., and experience using EPIC in a clinical setting.
