Job Title: Travel Nurse ICU Position

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced ICU nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining a professional demeanor and attitude.
Requirements:
  • Current CT license and 1 year of ICU experience.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • NIH, CPI, and TNCC certifications preferred.
  • Skills in management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/use of PPE, central line care/management, and starting IVs.
