Job Title: Travel Nurse ICU Position

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse ICU RN to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced ICU RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU nursing and possess strong skills in management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/use of PPE, central line care/management, and starting IVs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
  • Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery lines, and other life-sustaining devices
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines
Requirements:
  • Current CT RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU nursing
  • Strong skills in management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/use of PPE, central line care/management, and starting IVs
  • ACLS and BCLS certification
