Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at The Oxford Center. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients with Autism.

You will be supervised by a BCBA and will aid in implementing treatment and programs created by the BCBA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide ABA services to clients with Autism, working one-on-one with each child to implement their individualized treatment plans.
  • Collect and record data on patient behavior, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with our clinical services team, including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists, to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a safe and supportive environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA therapy.

Requirements:

  • Paid training provided in ABA therapy
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; experience working with children and/or special needs community preferred but not required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and physically fit to lift and carry patients as needed.
