About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team as a Behavior Technician in Brighton, MI. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA to develop and implement evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
  • Provide patient and supportive care to children with autism, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not already completed within the last year).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

$16-$20 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Becoming a Registered Behavior Technician is a requirement for this position.
